What is an e-commerce fulfillment warehouse?

E-commerce fulfillment brings receiving, location-based storage, order picking, packing, carrier handoff and return handling together in one warehouse operation.

Fulfbase is designed to connect marketplace and online-store orders with a centralized operational flow, helping sellers spend less time on manual logistics and more time on products, customers and growth.

The problem

The biggest cost for e-commerce sellers: time

What takes up your day?

  • Checking orders one by one every morning
  • Selecting a carrier separately for every order
  • Losing time printing labels and packing orders
  • Updating inventory manually
  • Dealing with return processes

What you should be focusing on

  • Product development and innovation
  • Customer satisfaction and support
  • Marketing and brand growth
  • New product and market research
  • Developing sales strategies
Operational work consumes your day. To grow, you need to focus on your products and customers.

Flow 04 · Live order flow

New orders are collected in one panel

Orders created across sales channels are transferred to Fulfbase, matched with the correct store and products, and routed to the relevant warehouse operation.

Central order pool

Flow 05 · Warehouse operation

Each order becomes a picking and packing task

The order enters the picking screen with its bin and barcode data. After product validation, packing, labeling and dispatch steps begin.

Flow 06 · Reconciliation and sync

Order and inventory records are compared with every channel

Channel orders are periodically reconciled; unmatched records enter a review list, while inventory and order statuses are synchronized back to the relevant sales channel.

Reconciliation that reduces missing-order risk

This section does not represent live customer performance data. It is a product simulation of Fulfbase's planned multi-channel product, order and warehouse workflow. Supported connections may vary by sales channel and release stage.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about e-commerce fulfillment

Which processes are included in fulfillment warehousing?

Core processes include receiving, inventory checks, location-based storage, order picking, packing, shipping-label creation, dispatch tracking and return inspection.

How do marketplace orders reach the fulfillment warehouse?

Orders from supported marketplaces and e-commerce connections are transferred to a central panel and routed into the warehouse operation.

How is fulfillment pricing calculated?

Fulfbase plans to use a transaction-based model instead of a fixed monthly service charge. Receiving, storage, picking, packing, returns and other operations are calculated according to the activity performed, while tiered unit prices decrease as order volume grows.

Is there a fixed monthly fee or setup charge?

The planned standard fulfillment model has no fixed monthly service fee or setup charge. Businesses pay for the storage capacity they use and the operations actually performed. Custom integrations, packaging or operational requirements may be quoted separately.

What does tiered fulfillment pricing mean?

Tiered pricing means that the unit cost per transaction decreases as order or operational volume increases during an agreed period. Final tiers are presented in the proposal after product characteristics, order volume, storage needs and service scope are reviewed.

Where will the first Fulfbase fulfillment warehouse be located?

The first Fulfbase operations center is planned for Kocaeli, Türkiye. The longer-term goal is to develop a network of regional fulfillment warehouses so orders can be managed closer to their destination markets.

When will the Kocaeli fulfillment warehouse open?

The Kocaeli operations center is not open yet. Fulfbase is currently gathering seller requirements and operational demand; the opening plan, capacity and final service scope will be shaped by this feedback.

Which e-commerce businesses can use fulfillment services?

Marketplace sellers, direct-to-consumer brands and independent online stores that want to outsource inventory, picking, packing, shipping and returns can use fulfillment services. Suitability is reviewed according to product type, order volume and required operations.

How are products received into the fulfillment warehouse?

Products are sent to the warehouse with a planned inbound record. Quantity, barcode and core product details are checked during receiving, then accepted inventory is placed into location-based storage and made traceable in the operational panel.

Can orders use branded packaging?

Subject to operational suitability, orders may use branded boxes, mailers, tape, thank-you cards or campaign inserts. Supply, storage and handling requirements for custom packaging are defined during the proposal stage.

What happens when an order is returned?

When a return reaches the warehouse, it is matched with its order and product record. Based on agreed inspection rules, it can be classified as resellable, requiring review or damaged; eligible items can then be returned to available inventory.

Can fulfillment support international orders?

International orders can be planned within the fulfillment flow when the appropriate sales-channel, documentation and carrier connections are available.
